About The Role

Please note there are part-time (14 hours) and full-time (32 hours) positions available.

As an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Responsibilities
  1. Planning and implementing activities that delight our Residents.
  2. Assisting the Home Manager in organising fundraising events.
  3. Encouraging Residents to socialise more effectively and developing new activity ideas based on their hobbies.
  4. Engaging the care team in activities with kindness and consideration.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes.
  • Positive energy, good interpersonal skills, and a natural ability to connect with people.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and IT skills, with effective time management.
  • Ability to communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding

Recognising signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and knowing how to respond. Attendance at safeguarding training is required, along with the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
