A leading healthcare provider seeks an Activities Coordinator to enhance the wellbeing of individuals in their care. You will plan and lead recreational activities, ensuring a stimulating environment that supports recovery and engagement for service users.
As an Activities Coordinator at the Meadows, you’ll help to create a stimulating environment that enables us to deliver exceptional all-round care and support for people who use our services. Your role would help to provide high quality, caring service that makes a positive and effective contribution to the care pathway of people admitted onto the wards in the acute phase of their illness.
This role is to complement the nursing team in planning, designing, organising, and running leisure and meaningful engagement activities considering the needs and interests of individual members and to support, challenge, and enhance the psychological, spiritual, social, and emotional wellbeing of individuals.
We are the leading provider of health and social care services for people of all ages with mental ill-health and learning disabilities in Surrey and North East Hampshire. We also provide social care services for people with a learning disability in Croydon and ASD and ADHD assessment services in Hampshire.
We actively seek to engage people who use our services and our communities in improving mental wellbeing. We work closely with NHS and voluntary sector organisations to support service users and carers.
Surrey is a beautiful county just 30 minutes from Central London and the South Coast, with historic market towns, countryside, and excellent transport links, including nearby Gatwick and Heathrow airports.
