Activities Assistant - Care Home
Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire MK6 5LS
Hours: 30hrs per week
Salary: £11.94 per hour
As an Activities Assistant at a care home, you’ll deliver imaginative, fun and varied activities to ensure our residents can enjoy an environment that is motivational and fulfilling. We want to make sure each individual can pursue the interests they most enjoy, and that means you’ll have a real impact on our residents’ lives. The Activities Assistant role involves helping us to deliver an entertainment and activities programme that covers a wide range of pastimes, social activities, outings, and events. Put simply, you’ll help every resident to live as independently as possible and enhance their involvement with their family, friends, and the local community.
Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role; however, you could come from any background. What’s important is that you have a sense of fun, creativity, and the ability to encourage and motivate others. You’ll also need to have that little extra something – a real interest in the people we support. Enthusiastic and empathetic, you’re someone who’ll really enjoy helping our residents to live their lives to the fullest.
