Location: Talbot View - Bournemouth - BH10 4HG

Pay rate: £12.30 per hour

Hours: Part-time, 25 hours per week, including alternate weekends

We have an exciting opportunity for an Activities Assistant to join Talbot View, a modern residential care home for frail elderly and individuals with dementia. Located in Bournemouth, Talbot View has strong ties to the Ensbury Park Community and promotes an open and inclusive atmosphere.

What you will be doing:

1. Assist in providing a range of imaginative and enjoyable social and therapeutic activities to residents, including those living with dementia.
2. Deliver an ongoing calendar of social events and activities tailored to residents' personal interests.
3. Maintain awareness of residents' changing needs and raise concerns when necessary.
4. Assist during mealtimes to promote a social, calm, and enjoyable experience.
5. Provide encouragement and support to help residents remain as independent as possible.
6. This role requires flexible working hours that can accommodate your lifestyle.

Who are we looking for:

You are social, outgoing, and possess excellent communication skills. You have good time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work well in a team environment.
