Job summary

The Hut Group (THG) is seeking an Assistant Garment Technologist for MP Activewear, based at THG ICON in Manchester. You will support Garment Technologists across development, fit, and technical packs to ensure quality, fit and performance across activewear collections.

The role offers growth in a fast-paced, brand-driven environment, with emphasis on collaboration with suppliers and production teams, accurate measurements, documentation, and continuous improvement in fit and technical standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant/Junior Garment Technologist or Technical Assistant in activewear or similar.
• Good understanding of garment construction, grading and fabrics.
• Meticulous with measurements and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Support Garment Technologists through development, from samples to bulk.
• Assist with fit sessions and record measurements and comments.
• Marshal technical packs, size charts and product records.
• Collaborate with Product Development and external Production teams.
