Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Active Travel Officer in Hampshire to deliver a range of cycle-based activities aimed at increasing active travel to school. It is a 6-month, full-time contract.

The role involves working with schools and communities, running bike doctors, led rides and training sessions, with DBS approval and regular reporting for newsletters. You will also engage families in holiday events and produce case studies and articles to showcase impact.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of predominantly cycle-based activities to increase active travel to school, including bike doctors, led rides, and balance bike training.
• Work with schools and communities on term-time activities and family events during school holidays.
• Produce 6-monthly output reports, case studies, and articles for newsletters, and maintain DBS approval at delivery.
