Job summary

Sport Aberdeen is seeking an Active Schools Coordinator to drive participation in sport across Northfield ASG in Aberdeen. You will design and lead an engaging extracurricular programme, recruit and mentor volunteers, and connect school activity to local clubs.

The role requires strong project management, a passion for improving young people’s lives, and the ability to build lasting relationships with school staff and community partners.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating school-based sport programs.
• Ability to recruit and develop volunteers.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate a diverse extracurricular sport programme.
• Recruit, support, and develop volunteers and young leaders.
• Create pathways from school sports to local clubs and community groups.
• Support young people from priority groups to participate in activities.
• Work collaboratively with school staff, local partners, and community organisations.
