Job summary

Royal Mail in Skelmersdale is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to deliver letters and parcels. You will work on a rotating shift including weekends, with full training and a uniform provided.

The role requires a full manual UK driving licence, physical fitness to walk long distances, and the ability to work outdoors. Shifts are 30 hours per week across 5 days in 7, with overtime available.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence.
• Able to pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit to walk long distances and lift 10kg+ mailbags.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Work outdoors in all weathers.
