Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Windsor is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) on a fixed-term contract for 6 months. The role covers a 30-hour week with a rotating shift including weekends, from 08:30 to 14:30, with paid overtime available.

You will be trained, issued a uniform and a red Royal Mail van, and must hold a full UK manual driving licence (max 6 penalty points). You should be comfortable walking long distances and working outdoors.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK manual driving licence.
• Able to walk long distances and lift 10 kg+ mailbags.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers on your routes.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
