Job summary

Royal Mail Group is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Motherwell for a 9-month fixed-term contract. The role involves delivering letters and parcels in the local area, sorting at the delivery office, and working on a rotating shift including weekends. A full manual UK driving licence is required and training is provided.

You will work outdoors in all weather, stay active, and interact with customers while maintaining high service standards. A uniform is provided and overtime is paid.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (with up to 6 penalty points)
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, lift 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable, self-motivated and well-organised
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service

Responsibilities
