Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Weybridge is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) for a fixed-term contract of 9 months. You will sort and deliver letters and parcels in your local area, working outdoors in all weathers on a 30-hour week, with a rotating shift including weekends.

Full training, a uniform and a Royal Mail van are provided. A full manual UK driving licence, ability to pass a driving assessment and good physical fitness are required.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence required.
• Able to pass a driving assessment and deliver safely.
• Physically fit for long periods of walking and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in the local area.
• Build relationships with customers.
