Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Weymouth is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) on a fixed-term contract of 6 months. You will deliver letters and parcels in Weymouth, working a 37-hour week on a rotating schedule that includes weekends and Sundays at Dorchester.

You’ll need a full manual UK driving licence, be physically fit to walk long distances, and comfortable outdoors. Training, a uniform, and a Royal Mail van are provided, with paid overtime and access to great benefits.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Willingness to pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated in a busy environment.
• Strong organisation and resilience in a delivery role.

Responsibilities
