Job summary

Royal Mail Group is hiring a Postie to deliver letters and parcels in Bideford. You will work on a rotating shift, including weekends, with routes that vary by demand. Full training and a provided uniform are part of the package.

Expect to walk long distances, drive a Royal Mail van daily, and deliver high volumes outdoors in all weather. You’ll be part of a busy team delivering items that matter to local customers.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points)
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
• Customer-focused, with pride in delivering great service
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area
• Build relationships with customers
