Job summary

Royal Mail in Canterbury is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) on a fixed-term 6-month contract. You will sort letters and parcels, deliver by van and on foot, and build relationships with customers while working outdoors in all weather.

You’ll follow a rotating shift schedule (30 hours per week, 5 days in 7, including some weekends) and receive full training, a uniform, and a Royal Mail van to use.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Be prepared to pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently.
