Job summary

Join Royal Mail as a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Fareham and become the face of our trusted service, delivering letters and parcels in your local area. You'll work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends, with a 30-hour week, 10:00 to 16:00 on some days, and full training provided.

You’ll need a full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points), be comfortable driving a Royal Mail van, and enjoy delivering to the community outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances and carry mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated with good organisation.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office
• Deliver post by van and on foot in Fareham
• Build relationships with customers
• Work outdoors in all weather
