Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) for Deeside to deliver letters and parcels, build relationships with customers, and work outdoors in all weather. The role involves a rotating shift, including weekends, with full training provided and a uniform.

You will drive a Royal Mail van daily, walk long distances, and handle varying routes. A full UK manual licence is required, and a driving assessment will be conducted. This fixed-term position lasts 6 months with 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points).
• Able to pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit to walk long distances and lift 10kg+ mailbags.
• Willingness to work Sundays and weekends.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weathers.
