Job summary

Pertemps Bond is hiring a Collections and Delivery Driver in Newcastle. This role involves loading at the delivery office, delivering letters and parcels on foot and by vehicle, and using a handheld device for route navigation and signatures.

The position requires a full UK manual driving licence (ideally clean), strong time management and customer service skills, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence required (ideally clean).
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Previous driving/delivering experience is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Load & Go: start day by sorting/loading vehicle at delivery office.
• On the Move: deliver letters/parcels by foot and vehicle, up to 8 miles daily.
• Tech-Savvy Delivery: use handheld device for routes and signatures.
• Hands-On Work: lift up to 16kg mailbags and 20kg parcels as needed.
