Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council is seeking an enthusiastic Activity Enabler to design and deliver therapeutic activities for residents in its Local Authority Care Homes. The role focuses on fostering emotional well-being, cognitive engagement, and community connections, with flexibility for evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Hybrid working and flexi-time are offered, subject to service needs. Candidates should be committed to safeguarding and may require an Enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• Experience in activity planning or care-related activities desired.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and adult/child welfare policies.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver therapeutic activities for residents to support emotional well-being and cognitive engagement.
• Foster community connections and promote fulfilling experiences in the care home environment.
• Adapt activities to individual needs, and collaborate with staff to enable participation.
