Job summary

Royal Mail Group is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Dartford. This permanent role requires 37 hours per week over five days, with weekend shifts on a rolling rota. You will sort mail, deliver by van and on foot, and interact with customers in Dartford and surrounding areas.

You’ll need a full manual UK driving licence and fitness to walk long distances, with full training provided. The job involves outdoor work in all weather and delivering large volumes of parcels during peak

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (UK) with up to 6 penalty points
• Willingness to drive Royal Mail van daily and pass driving assessment
• Physically fit for long walks and lifting mailbags

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office
• Deliver post by van and on foot in the local area
• Build relationships with customers
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
