Job summary

Royal Mail Group is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Corwen for a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role involves delivering letters and parcels across a rotating shift, with weekends included.

You will walk long distances, drive a Royal Mail van, and work outdoors in all weather, building relationships with customers along your route. The position offers paid overtime, 30 hours per week, and a supportive training program to help you settle into the community.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points) and good driving record.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and walk significant distances.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and on a 5 days in 7 rota.
