Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible postal delivery drivers through Angard Recruitment. You’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels, with a mix of van driving and on-foot delivery.

The role requires a driving licence, physical fitness, and adaptability to varying shifts. Pay rates vary by shift, and the opportunity is flexible and community-minded.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary and require adaptability at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as the face of Royal Mail in your community.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of the route on foot.
• Deliver items on your route including election materials and certain items per policy.
