Job summary

Angard Recruitment is recruiting for Royal Mail flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers in Portishead and surrounding areas. You will deliver letters and parcels on your round, combining driving and walking as part of a busy daily schedule.

A full UK manual driving licence, ability to walk up to 20,000 steps daily, and the stamina to handle a 16 kg mailbag are required. Shifts vary with a supportive, community-focused team environment and opportunities to progress.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; you must be adaptable to short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of your delivery round.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and complete route tasks, some walking included.
• Ensure items reach destinations safely and on time.
