Job summary

Angard Recruitment is hiring for Royal Mail delivery drivers across the Newtown area. This temporary role involves driving a Royal Mail van, delivering letters and parcels, and staying active throughout the shift.

You will walk parts of your route, meet community needs, and pass a driving assessment on start. Shifts vary; pay rates are published and reviewed, with opportunities for ongoing employment.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps daily and carry up to 16 kg.
• Flexible team player able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels around your delivery area and provide excellent service.
• Handle election materials and other items in line with Royal Mail standards.
• Pass driving assessment at start and work flexibly across shifts.
