Job summary

Royal Mail Group is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in New Milton. The role involves delivering letters and parcels, working outdoors in all weather, and building relationships with customers. You will rotate shifts across 5 days in 7, with some weekends, and may be required to work Sundays at Christchurch Delivery Office.

You’ll receive full training, a uniform, and a Royal Mail van. A full manual UK driving licence is necessary and driving assessments may be required.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, stairs/hills, lifting 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently
