Job summary

Sudbury Primary School in Greater London is seeking an exceptional leader to drive school improvement and realise our vision of working together to develop confident, well-educated learners with healthy minds and bodies.

You will lead transition between year groups, raise teaching standards, develop a creative curriculum, manage a large staff, and use data to target interventions while engaging parents and the wider community.

Qualifications

• Be able to lead the development of and support the transition between year groups.
• Be able to raise the standard of teaching and learning within the Phase Team and develop a creative, stimulating curriculum.
• Be able to lead, manage, motivate and inspire a large team.
• Be able to effectively track children’s progress, attainment and analyse data effectively.
• Be able to use assessment data to implement interventions and ensure high progress and standards; communicate with the whole school community.
• Be able to engage parents and the wider community in the children’s learning.
• Be an excellent and reflective classroom practitioner with high expectations and a focus on school improvement.
• Have proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Motivate, enthuse, engage and inspire our pupils.
• Demonstrate flexibility, good teamwork and a commitment to the school’s vision and values.
• Be a dedicated, caring professional who wants to be part of a happy and successful team.
