Join our Team as a Senior Control Systems Engineer

Location: Waterlooville, Hampshire

Job Type: Fulltime (37.5 hours/week)

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (experience dependent)

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Sector Project Manager, your role is to support and deliver automation projects for our key accounts. This includes developing PLC, HMI, and SCADA software in a fast-paced industry, with significant customer-facing duties and site work.

Your day-to-day will include:

1. Produce and modify PLC, HMI, and SCADA software according to customer standards.
2. Advise customers on automation solutions and control system architectures.
3. Carry out site surveys and assist with project quotations.

What you bring

• Good knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems from OEMs like Rockwell, Schneider, Mitsubishi, Aveva Wonderware, and Beijer.
• Experience setting up, commissioning, and fault-finding industrial networks.
• Ability to read electrical schematic diagrams from industrial environments.
• Awareness of standards in the water sector.
