The Pharmacy team at Pulse is currently recruiting for a Band 6 ACT Technician in Leeds. The successful candidate will work full-time hours from Monday to Friday. We are seeking a ward-based pharmacist with previous experience.

Position Details

• Position: ACT Technician
• Banding: 6
• Location: Leeds
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Duration: Ongoing contract

Typical Duties

• Dispensing medications as prescribed by doctors and other medical professionals
• Reviewing prescriptions for accuracy and suitability
• Providing information and advice about drugs, side effects, dosage, and storage
• Offering health advice, including smoking cessation guidance
• Maintaining records such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, inventories, and controlled substances registries

Essential Skills

• GPHC Registered
• Clinical Experience
• Relevant UK experience
