Are you an Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) looking for a rewarding role with a large Pharmaceutical Logistics operation in Leighton Buzzard? We have an exciting permanent opportunity with great pay and company benefits!
Duration: Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:30am–6:00pm (Occasional paid overtime may be required)

What You’ll Be Doing:
Join our client's pharmacy team as an ACT and play a vital role in ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medication. In this role, you will:
Carry out final accuracy checks on homecare prescriptions
Support the pharmacist by assisting with dispensing tasks
Supervise the dispensing and supply of medicines in accordance with SOPs
Promote quality, safety, and continuous improvement across pharmacy services
Help train and develop pharmacy staff
Ensure compliance with GPhC standards, Medicines Act, Good Distribution Practice, and Clinical Governance policies
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services
Current GPhC registration as a pharmacy technician
A strong attention to detail and a patient-focused approach
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Ability to meet deadlines and motivate others in a fast-paced environment
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a full-time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:30am–6:00pm. There may be occasional paid overtime if daily tasks are not completed by 6:00pm, though this is infrequent.
