Job summary

Attivo is seeking an Acquisition Analyst to support its strategic growth by researching and progressing potential acquisition opportunities. You will provide high-quality financial analysis, due diligence support and clear recommendations to help the business evaluate targets, understand risks and strategic fit.

You will own the financial modelling process for acquisitions and work with colleagues and external professionals to support transactions. Hybrid work in Cheltenham, London or Reading.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, transaction support, investment analysis or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, valuation techniques and financial modelling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Professional knowledge in accounting, business, financial planning, investments or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyse financial, commercial and operational information relating to potential acquisition targets.
• Support due diligence activity by collating, reviewing and interpreting relevant information.
• Take ownership of the financial modelling process for newly introduced acquisitions.
• Assist with deal negotiation activity and track actions and next steps.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals (investment bankers, lawyers, accountants, vendors).
• Maintain the deal pipeline tracker and keep information up to date.
• Prepare, organise and maintain transaction documentation.
• Ensure confidential information is handled appropriately.
• Work with Attivo departments to produce insights from historic acquisitions.
• Prepare clear recommendations to support senior management decisions.
