Job Title: Acquisition Finance Manager

Location: Becket House, Worthing

Role Type: Flexible/Hybrid with Remote working and potential ad hoc travel after training

Job Summary and Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading acquisition forecasting, due diligence, pre-completion, and post-completion monitoring
  • Managing and supporting the finance acquisition team
  • Preparing interim three-year forecasts for potential acquisitions
  • Conducting financial due diligence assessments
  • Liaising with vendors during and after the due diligence process
  • Presenting financial due diligence reports to the internal board and external investors
  • Preparing and agreeing on monthly three-year post-completion budgets
  • Collaborating with Regional Directors, Managing Directors, and Department Heads
  • Working with the Acquisition Integration Director on Commercial Due Diligence
  • Coordinating with client accounts to ensure smooth post-completion transitions
  • Ensuring operational needs are reflected in budgets and due diligence
  • Agreeing on completion accounts and statutory accounts/tax returns
  • Overseeing the transition of acquisitions into LRG finance
  • Monitoring deferred considerations for acquisitions
  • Supporting the Group Mergers and Acquisitions Director as needed

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance
  • Knowledge of residential lettings, sales, and property management
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • High standards of excellence, motivation, and commitment
  • Commercially astute and customer-focused
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn
