Job summary

Nationwide, based in London, invites applications for a Director role within Acquisition Finance. You will join the deal team to originate and execute new lending opportunities across Leveraged and Corporate transactions, supporting end-to-end deal lifecycle from assessment to completion.

In this hybrid role, you’ll collaborate with Senior Directors and stakeholders, develop credit submissions, and build strong relationships to grow the team’s network and deal pipeline across the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong financial analysis capability including interpreting financial statements, assessing risk, and building robust models.
• Knowledge of loan and security documentation with experience supporting or managing documentation and due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess new lending opportunities as part of a deal team.
• Build detailed financial models and prepare clear credit papers outlining risks and deal structure.
• Coordinate due diligence and documentation through to completion, while developing internal and external networks.
