ERM is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and enthusiastic Acoustic Consultant or Senior Acoustic Consultant to join our market-leading Acoustics team. You will support the delivery of high-quality noise and vibration services and we'll support your professional development to help you build and grow your career at ERM.
You will work on innovative projects in the decarbonisation (hydrogen, CCUS) and renewable energy sectors (solar, onshore and offshore wind, hydrogen, and battery storage), where ERM is leading the low carbon energy transition. Our projects include cutting-edge initiatives like our own concept and Equinor’s H2H Saltend Blue Hydrogen project.
You will have the opportunity to work across various sectors and geographies, conducting noise surveys, analyzing data, performing noise modelling and assessments, and writing reports alongside our experienced team.

About you
You should have some experience in an acoustic consultancy role, be degree qualified in Acoustics or a similar discipline, and have a good understanding of acoustic principles. Excellent report writing skills are essential. Membership in the Institute of Acoustics is preferred. Due to site visits, a full UK driving license is required, and some overnight stays may be necessary.
