Key Duties
  1. Carry out final checking of dispensed items whilst adhering to the company's standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  2. Supervise the pharmacy technician(s) and wider dispensary team to ensure everyone is carrying out their duties correctly.
  3. Liaise with other healthcare professionals to assist in the continuity of patient care across primary and secondary services, ensuring that Patient Medication Records (PMRs) are maintained accurately to ensure patient safety whilst complying with current data protection requirements.
  4. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of medicines and minor ailments by reading journals, product information, and training resources.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements
