Who Are We?

Xeinadin Group was established in 2019 when more than 100 successful, independent, business advisory and accountancy practices across the UK and Ireland came together to re-imagine the future of accountancy.

Our collective mission to provide locally forged, trusted business advice to SMEs through forward-thinking, close-knit relationships remains pivotal to our growth. It is our people who help drive our business forward, and we offer them future-focused career opportunities whilst supporting the individual specialisms.

Our regional offices of over 3000 colleagues operate in collaboration across the Group, combining collective expertise to maximise our people's potential. As part of one Xeinadin, our colleagues can draw on expertise and support from across our UK, Ireland, and central teams, as well as benefitting from being a part of their local communities.

About the Role:

As an Accounts Trainee, you'll gain experience across both our Tax and Business Services teams, building a broad skill set in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

You'll work with a varied client base including sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, high earners, and property investors.

This is a varied role involving multiple assignments and regular client interaction, including handling queries, gathering information, and supporting clients with accounting software. • Develop the ability to handle client queries and offer clear, concise responses.
  • Support client service by ensuring tax documents and filings are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Build rapport with clients and support the development of long-term relationships.
  • Assist with audit work where required.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather the necessary data for tax filings and client work.
  • Attend training sessions, both internal and external, to further your knowledge of tax and accounting practices.
  • Actively apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings and contribute to the team's success.
  • Contribute to the firm's business growth by delivering excellent client service and supporting the firm's values.
  • Actively participate in team activities, supporting colleagues and fostering a collaborative environment.
Key Requirements:
  • Opportunity for school leavers.
  • Strong academic background, including a minimum Grade 7 in GCSE Mathematics and Grade 6 in GCSE English (or equivalent).
  • Willingness to learn and commit to professional development, including studying towards AAT and potentially further qualifications (e.g. ACA/ICAEW, ATT/CTA).
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a high level of motivation and energy.
  • Professional and mature approach when dealing with clients and colleague.
Additional Requirements:
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling numbers and financial data.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop professionally in tax and accounting.
  • Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong team player, dependable, and proactive.
What We Offer:
