Blusource Professional Services Ltd is recruiting for an Accounts Technician in Leighton Buzzard to handle a varied client portfolio across statutory accounts, management accounts, tax, bookkeeping, VAT and MTD. The role offers progression within a friendly firm that values accuracy and client service.

Strong experience with QuickBooks/Xero (Sage helpful) and a willingness to study for AAT, ACA or ACCA with study days are preferred; salary is negotiable and in line with market rates.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with QuickBooks/Xero (Sage knowledge is a plus).
• Ability to handle a varied client portfolio across statutory accounts, tax and VAT.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Year-end Accounts for various entity types.
• Corporation Tax computations and returns.
• Self-Assessment Tax returns.
• Support to Client Managers.
• Preparation of P11Ds.
• Client portfolio liaison and queries.
• Bookkeeping and VAT returns.
• Assist with Making Tax Digital.
