You will gain exposure to accounts preparation, tax compliance, bookkeeping and client advisory work, while building strong professional relationships and delivering a high standard of service in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy practice with accounts preparation, tax and bookkeeping.
• AAT qualification or part-qualified status, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience preparing accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders; knowledge of VAT and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
• Prepare personal and corporation tax computations and returns.
• Deliver bookkeeping and management accounting services for a diverse client portfolio.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients.
• Complete Companies House and HMRC filings within required deadlines.
• Support clients with day-to-day accounting and taxation queries.
