Westcotts is seeking an Accounts Technician to join the Weston-super-Mare office on a permanent basis. You will provide high-quality accounting support to a varied client portfolio and develop technical skills within a supportive firm.

Work is hybrid after an initial office-based period; you will help deliver excellent service across the South West and contribute to a positive wellbeing and career growth environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Accounts Technician or Accounts Assistant in practice.
• AAT qualification, or part-qualified or by experience considered.
• Experience preparing accounts for varied client types.

Responsabilités

• Prepare financial statements for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
• Prepare personal and company tax computations and returns.
• Provide bookkeeping and management accounting services.
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and support VAT obligations.
• Maintain accurate client accounting records and documents.
