Job summary

Infinity Recruitment Consultancy Limited, based in Kettering, is recruiting an Accounts Technician. The role offers either full-time or part-time hours with hybrid working and a 37.5-hour week for full-time, plus flexible patterns.

You will prepare statutory and unaudited accounts, liaise with clients, ensure accuracy and deadlines, and spot opportunities to provide additional services. The package includes £30,000–£36,000, enhanced pension, and generous leave.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' accounts preparation experience within an accountancy practice.
• AAT qualified or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud accounting software, preferably Xero.

Our client based in Kettering is looking to recruit an Accounts Technician. This role will offer either full or part time working hours, along with hybrid working. Full Time hours will be Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with flexible working pattern.

As an Accounts Technician you will be required to

• Prepare statutory and unincorporated accounts and tax computations.
• Liaise with clients to obtain information and provide support with accounting queries.
• Ensure work is accurate, completed efficiently and meets deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services to clients.

As an Accounts Technician you will have:-

• At least 2 years' accounts preparation experience within an accountancy practice.
• AAT qualified or equivalent experience.
• Experience with cloud accounting software, ideally Xero.
• Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail.
