Job summary

Pro‑Recruitment Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an Accounts & Tax Semi-Senior for a growing accountancy practice near Leighton Buzzard. The role offers broad exposure across accounts preparation, corporation tax and other compliance work.

You'll work across statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, CT600s, and personal tax support, while developing ownership of client portfolios and progress with guidance from Seniors and Managers.

Qualifications

• 18 months+ experience in an accountancy practice.
• Hands-on accounts preparation experience.
• Exposure to corporation tax.
• Experience working with owner-managed businesses.
• Confident client communication.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Interest in broader general practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies.
• Preparing accounts for sole traders and partnerships.
• Corporation tax computations and CT600s.
• Supporting personal tax work where required.
• Preparing working papers and lead schedules.
• Liaising directly with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.
• Managing deadlines across your portfolio.
• Supporting Seniors and Managers on more complex assignments.
• Developing towards greater responsibility for clients and reviewing work.
