TPF Recruitment is recruiting for an Accounts & Tax Manager / Client Manager to join a highly successful firm of independent chartered accountants based near Hove. This is a fantastic general practice position where you will join a well-established and forward thinking firm of chartered accountants who boast an excellent work life balance and a great working environment.

You will manage your own client portfolio made up Ltd Companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships across FRS105, 102 and 102 1a. Our client focuses on good quality, technical work, and offers a very modern and relaxed working environment where you will be offered lots of autonomy, flexibility and hybrid working.

• Building and maintaining relationships with clients
  
• Managing a portfolio of owner managed businesses made up of sole traders, Ltd companies and LLPs
  
• Reviewing an preparing statutory accounts, corporate and personal tax returns and VAT returns
  
• Managing the delivery of tax and accounts advisory projects and presenting the results to clients
  
• Identifying tax planning opportunities for clients
  
• Overseeing and supporting the work of more junior member of the team
  

Requirements

• ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
  
• Experience gained within an accountancy firm
  
• Experience of IRIS and cloud software such as Xero or QuickBooks would be advantageous
  
• £40,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable
  
• Felxible hours/ hybrid working
  
• 25 days annual leave+ bank holidays
  
• Auto Enrolment Pension
• Hybrid working from home 1 day a week
