Job summary

Trial Balance Consulting Ltd. is seeking an Accounts Senior in Saltash with progression opportunities.

You will work with a varied portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, and play a key role in statutory accounts, VAT returns, bookkeeping and tax planning. The successful candidate will be ACCA/ACA or equivalent with solid practice experience, fit well into the team and build client relationships.

Qualifications

• Qualified with ACCA/ACA or equivalent.
• Solid current experience in an accountancy practice environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory accounts.
• Prepare VAT returns and bookkeeping.
• Handle tax compliance and planning.
• Payroll compliance when required.
• Work with a varied portfolio of clients (sole traders, partnerships, limited companies).

Accounts Senior (with progression!) - Saltash - £35-45,000 DOE

Trial Balance are working with a forward-thinking accountancy practice, in their search for an Accounts Senior to join their Saltash office.

Joining a small but expanding team, you will not only immediately step-in to a varied and interesting role, you will be joining with a plan in place for this position to grow and develop into something much more.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Working with a varied portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
• Preparing VAT returns and bookkeeping
• Tax compliance and planning
• Payroll compliance when required

For this role, we are seeking a qualified candidate (ACCA or ACA or equivalent) who has strong current experience in an accountancy practice environment. You will be required to fit in well with an existing team and be able to build genuine relationships with your clients.
