Job summary

Sharp Consultancy in Sheffield seeks an Accounts Senior to join a growing accountancy practice. You will manage a portfolio, prepare and review accounts and tax work, attend client meetings and guide junior team members in a collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates will be ACA or ACCA qualified with practice experience and a proactive, organised approach, focused on progression and high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Experience working in a accountancy practice
• Ability to manage a portfolio of mixed clients
• Experience across accounts, tax and advisory work
• Proactive and well organised
• Self-motivated and capable of meeting deadlines

Responsibilities

• Preparation of management accounts
• Work with a varied portfolio of clients as the key point of contact
• Add value to clients through meetings
• Preparation of personal tax returns
• Review and submit VAT returns
• Mentor junior members of staff
