Job summary

Clark Wood is recruiting an Accounts Senior for their St Asaph office in Wales. You will undertake a varied accounts role, including statutory accounts for multiple entity types, tax returns, VAT reviews, and mentoring junior staff.

Client communication is key to resolving accounting queries and ensuring high standards. The role requires ACA/ACCA part-qualified, fully qualified, or QBE, plus strong accounts knowledge and CPD.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification or equivalent.
• Strong technical accounts knowledge with CPD.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and charities.
• Prepare personal and corporation tax returns.
• Review VAT returns and support clients with queries.
• Review the work of junior team members and ensure files are Partner-ready.
• Mentor and develop junior members of the team.
• Communicate directly with clients and respond to accounting queries.
