Job summary

TPF Recruitment have been exclusively instructed by a well-established, award-winning Accountancy Practice in Hertfordshire who are in search of a qualified Semi-senior or Senior Accountant to join their accounts team.

You will work across accounts, management accounts, VAT and tax, servicing a mixed portfolio of clients across Hertfordshire and the South East, including corporate businesses and charity organisations. A supportive environment with long-term career progression is offered.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in an accountancy practice with bookkeeping, accounts prep, VAT and tax.
• Experience of cloud accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage or Xero.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Prepare monthly or quarterly management accounts.
• Prepare VAT returns.
• Review and complete more complex bookkeeping for clients.
• Supervise and review work of junior team members.
• Complete basic corporation tax and self-assessment tax returns.
