LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks an experienced Accounts Senior for a respected Exeter firm. You will oversee a diverse client portfolio, preparing financial statements and providing insights to support business growth.

With ACA/ACCA qualification and proficiency in Sage, Xero, and QBO, you will collaborate with a supportive team, supervise juniors, and benefit from ongoing professional development and hybrid working.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
• Proficient in Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks Online.
• Experience preparing accounts for partnerships, LLPs, and limited companies.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with entrepreneurial clients to guide growing businesses.
• Prepare annual accounts and tax computations for various entity types.
• Handle self-assessment tax returns and clarify client obligations.
• Advise on capital tax issues like inheritance and capital gains tax.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and quarterly VAT returns.
• Liaise with HMRC to resolve client queries.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, including training students.
