Job summary

Si Recruitment is seeking an Accounts Senior in Holmfirth/Huddersfield for an established accountancy practice. You will work with a varied portfolio, focusing on client service and progression.

The role covers accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT, with mentoring of junior staff and a strong emphasis on client relationships. Excellent opportunities for development and career progression offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' accountancy practice experience.
• AAT, ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Strong year-end accounts experience.
• GCSE English and Maths (Grade 5+).
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Experience with IRIS, Sage, Xero or QuickBooks would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparing year-end statutory accounts
• Preparing corporation and personal tax returns
• Bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Supporting and training junior team members
• Assisting with ad hoc accounting and client projects
• Building strong client relationships and providing a high level of service
