Job summary

IPS Group Limited, a modern cloud-based accountancy practice in Bradford, seeks an experienced Accountant to join the team. The role offers 3 days WFH, flexible start/finish times and options for full-time or part-time work.

You will handle year-end accounts, personal and corporate tax, and monthly management accounts while advising clients on financials and strategy. Training and progression are available in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within an accountancy practice.
• Strong experience preparing year-end accounts.
• Experience with management accounts and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of Xero, Dext and Apron cloud software.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end statutory accounts for limited companies and sole traders.
• Prepare personal and corporation tax returns, with training available where required.
• Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts.
• Review bookkeeping records and ensure the accuracy of financial information.
• Work directly with clients, providing accounting support and commercial advice.
• Manage your own workload and meet deadlines and compliance requirements.
