TC Group in Chorley is recruiting an Accounts Senior to join the growing team on a full-time basis. The role covers preparing sole trader, partnership and company accounts, plus corporation tax returns, with oversight of junior staff.

Ideal candidates have AAT or ACCA/ACA progress, strong MS Office skills, and experience with QuickBooks, Xero and Sage. The firm offers benefits and clear paths for progression within the UK.

Qualifications

• AAT qualification or working towards ACCA/ACA.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with cloud packages: QuickBooks, Xero, Sage.
• Eager to progress and adapt to the firm’s growth.

• Strong communication and team-collaboration skills.
• Willing to contribute to the firm’s future success.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sole trader and partnership accounts.
• Prepare company accounts and corporation tax returns.
• Review year-end accounts prepared by juniors for sign-off.
• Review VAT returns and bookkeeping prepared by juniors.
• Assist with personal tax returns for manager review.
• Provide cloud software training for staff and clients.
• Coach junior staff in their roles and handle admin tasks.
