TPF Recruitment is supporting a well-known and highly reputable chartered accountancy practice in Lamberhurst, near Tunbridge Wells, Kent/East Sussex, which is looking for a recently qualified Senior Accountant/Client Manager to join their team. Our client is a well-established, multi-partner practice with an extensive client portfolio, including prestigious businesses. They offer a fantastic career opportunity for an ambitious and career-driven Senior Accountant seeking progression. The team consists of experienced accountants and tax advisors, and the role involves managing a diverse client portfolio, with opportunities to engage in technical advisory services such as corporate finance and valuations. You will report directly to the partners, with prospects for advancement to Director and beyond.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a medium to large independent practice or a top-tier firm, seeking a progressive career move.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing accounts for various companies
• Preparing and reviewing corporate and personal tax returns
• Reviewing work of junior team members
• Advising clients on tax and advisory matters
• Supporting clients with projects like corporate finance and M&A
• Collaborating with partners and team to deliver excellent client service

Requirements

• ACA/ACCA qualified with 3+ years of practice experience
• Competent in accounts and taxation
• Knowledge of accounting and tax standards with commercial acumen
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Excellent IT skills, familiarity with MS Office, Iris, Sage, Xero
• Strong communication skills
