Job summary

Pertemps Glasgow Perms is seeking an Accounts Senior for a well-established accountancy practice in Dunfermline. You will manage client portfolios, prepare accounts and tax computations, and support growth while delivering high-quality client services.

The role offers a supportive team, professional development, and opportunities to work with a varied client base across accounting and taxation matters.

Qualifications

• Newly or recently qualified accountant status or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years' experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience preparing accounts for sole traders and limited companies (FRS 102).
• Good working knowledge of personal and corporation tax.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and build relationships with new and existing clients.
• Prepare annual accounts for various business structures.
• Produce management accounts and financial information to support client decisions.
• Prepare personal and corporation tax computations and related documents.
• Communicate with clients, HMRC and other parties on accounting matters.
• Keep up to date with accounting standards, tax legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues and senior team members for efficient service.
• Support managers and seniors with additional client assignments as required.
